Logic Creative Labs, Inc. is a volunteer-operated, member-based resource center where homeschool families come together to learn within a community dedicated to building a better world. Our facility includes workspace, meeting areas, and classrooms purpose-built for academics such as a science lab, maker space, art studios, and media rooms.
Above all, we shall treat our community with kindness and compassion.
So, here’s the legal stuff:
Hazards

No firearms or weapons of any kind. No weaponization of any items is permitted. No fireworks, explosives or any hazard may be permitted at the facility.

Please leave your pets at home.

Refrain from smoking, using alcohol or illegal substances on campus. Please ensure your aware, awake and responsible self is present.

To protect our members and educators, we ask that everyone be up to date on all vaccinations when possible.
Logic Creative Labs may remove any person from the facility, membership or premises for any reason.
Children

Children must be in a Member parent or guardian’s custody at all times. When a child is indoors, their Member parent is indoors. Members are solely responsible for the conduct and safety of their children.

Volunteers must provide a clean, current background check prior to commencing work with children.
Immediately work to resolve bullying, abuse, or harassment:

Members (children and adults) should first attempt to resolve any issues among themselves.

If you need help, or the problem does not get resolved, you should go to the activity coordinator or teacher next.

If the problem does not get resolved at that level, alert a member of the Executive Committee.
Duties of Membership

Only current, paid Members are permitted within the facility or on the premises. We are not open to the public.

All families must check in at the front desk. Entry only through the front door.

Our primary parking is at the lower lot. Please reserve the 14 front spots for permit holding Members that cannot walk stairs.

We encourage volunteers to run classes and workshops.
Property & Indemnification

Each member, as a condition of membership, assumes sole responsibility for their property. Logic Creative Labs shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any personal property.

Use of the facility and surrounding area is at your own risk. Members and their family and guests shall hold Logic Creative Labs, its affiliates, directors, officers, members, employees, representatives, and agents, Landlord and members of the Board of Directors or committees (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) harmless from any and all loss, cost, claim, injury, damage or liability sustained or incurred by him or her, resulting therefrom or arising out of or incident to membership in Logic Creative Labs and/or from any act or omission of any of the Indemnified Parties. Any member shall have, owe and perform the same obligation to the Indemnified Parties in respect to any such loss, cost, claim, injury, damage or liability sustained or incurred by any guest or family member.

No person shall remove any property belonging to Logic Creative Labs or another Member. Every Member shall be liable for any property damage caused by the Member, any guest or any family member.

It is the responsibility of each person using the facilities to consult with his or her physician, and such person should be in good physical condition and have no physical, medical or psychological conditions, disabilities, impairments or ailments, chronic or otherwise, which would preclude, impair or prevent the member from using the facilities or amenities or engaging in active or passive exercise. Members assume full risk of loss and responsibility for damage to their health if the foregoing representations are not and do not continue to remain true.

Help remind others of the rules and be respectful when others remind you.
